I created this skull artwork after losing my grandfather, when I needed to process grief through creation.
The skull and dreamcatcher art combination came naturally – I wanted to show that death isn’t an ending but a transformation. This circular skull drawing became my meditation on mortality, protection, and the filtering of energy between worlds. Therefore, instead of creating something dark, I found myself drawing something hopeful, even beautiful.
Weaving Cultural Respect into Design

I spent months studying Native American dreamcatcher traditions, understanding their spiritual significance before incorporating them into my work. In fact, I consulted with indigenous artists to ensure my interpretation was respectful rather than appropriative.
